Together with our Icelandic horses we ride out into the winter night and hopefully experience both the Northern lights and encounter moose. Includes transfer and a wilderness meal. Minimum age limit is 12 years. Maximum weight 90 kg.
We head out on a horseback ride with our Icelandic horses in the winter evening in the mountain forest where you will get the chance to see the Northern lights and moose. When we come back from the horseback ride, a dinner with local specialties such as wild game or fish will be served. During the pleasant atmosphere around the fire you have the opportunity to learn about the Sami culture. Includes round trip transfer to the farm by the Kalix River.
Departures: Daily at 3.30 pm to 8.30 pm until the end of February, and 5pm to 10pm between March 1 to 31.
Info: The tour starts and ends with the minibus transfer between ICEHOTEL and the starting point for the tour, about 45 minutes in each direction. First you get acquainted with your horse and you will take care of the horse before and after the tour, dinner and transfer are included. Approx. 1h horseback riding.
Important: Remember to be at the Meeting point at least 10 min. before the activity starts.
