ICEHOTEL cold accommodation

Hotel | To sleep in a room made of ice and snow is a surreal experience and a memory for life. We recommend that you combine one night in cold accomodation with several in warm. You sleep in thermal sleeping bags on a special bed built of snow and ice, on reindeer skins. You are awakened in the morning with a cup of hot lingonberry juice at your bedside. Breakfast buffet, winter overall, boots, mittens, morning sauna and towels included.

The temperature inside ICEHOTEL is always between -5 to -8 degrees Celsius. The bed you sleep on is built from a block of ice with a thick matress that rests on a wooden base. The bed is covered with reindeer hides and you sleep in a comfortable sleeping bag.

Instead of doors the hotel rooms have curtains that you draw to give you and your company privacy.
Your luggage is stored in the luggage storage room prior to your overnight stay. There are communal changing rooms, toilets and morning saunas for women and men in the warm section of ICEHOTEL.

ICEHOTEL opens in several phases. The first phase is completed mid-December and each week thereafter a new section opens, more suites and rooms will be available each week until mid-January when the construction of ICEHOTEL is completed.
